Hi! I’m Sophie, the 13-year-old behind Subtle Stiches.

I started this business in my room with one crochet hook, a few balls of yarn, and a big dream.

I created Subtle Stiches because I didn’t want to wait for “someday” to make something real — something that could hopefully last a lifetime. I wanted to prove that passion doesn’t need permission and that age doesn’t define what you can build.

Every piece is handmade by me on the Gold Coast with lots of love and care. Each bag is one of a kind — designed to last, tell a story, and remind you that no matter your age, you can achieve your dreams.

What started as a small hobby has grown into something I once only dreamed of — and I truly love it. I hope to keep growing this community with people who share the same love for creativity, kindness, and confidence.
